Fridays is our kind of crazy day. We have piano lessons in a nearby town, and then we usually complete our weekly library trip. Then we have some study time for art and music appreciation and P.E. Then we take Cupcake to her pointe class. We can't go home in the middle, because home is about 30 minutes away, and I don't want to drive back and forth, so we typically pack a lunch and eat it at a nearby park.
This Friday was no exception. The Boy however, did something new, as he discovered the fireman's pole at the park. He saw another child going down, and so, typical Boy fashion, he HAD to do it too. No fear. He climbs up and attempts to swing himself out from the platform to the pole. Luckily Cupcake and I caught him and helped him go down, which he then wanted to do again and again. He was fine, except for the fact that the distance from the pole to platform was too much for him.
We tried to convince Princess to go down, but she wanted nothing to do with it. Ahh--the differences between boys and girls!
