Well, I forgot my camera, but today was the girls' first recital of the year, the Hymn Festival. They play in a church, and I always choose Sunday. It just seems less stressful that way.
Cupcake played "Hum My Favorite Hymn" and Domestic Goddess played "In the Leafy Treetops". I always leave these recitals inspired to require more practice time out of both of them, so you can imagine that they LOVE recitals. However, they both played very well. Hubby took the boy outside to the church's jungle gym, and Princess listened and did lacing cards. Grandma and Grandpa and visiting Great Grandma were also able to attend, which was nice.
Here's to a great year of piano with our wonderful teacher!
