The night of the campout! Hubby decided that the kids should all campout in our backyard. This was really almost like "REAL" camping, as they were surrounded by trees, real live coyotes howling close by, and they could have a big bonfire. Our girl cousins came too, and they all hauled sleeping bags, blankets, pillows, and stuffed animals to the BIG tent. It was a little cold outside, so it was perfect camping weather.

We had pizza for dinner, but they were able to roast smores for dessert over the campfire. Everyone made it through the WHOLE night, except for the BOY who came in about 11 p.m. to sleep with Mommy. One cousin woke up in the middle of the night, a little scared, by the persistent howling of the coyotes, but went back to sleep. Our trusty Sunshine probably kept those coyotes away! The dog was as happy with the idea of the campout as anyone, because she had a little more freedom than usual.

Everyone smelled like smoke the next morning, but they had a fabulous TIME!
