Well, today Princess informed me that she wants to go and live with another family because she has to share her birthday month with other people (including her brother and the little boy we babysit). She should get to have the entire month to only herself! Did I raise this child?
The Boy tried to learn to play catch today. We were at the park and another little boy decided to give him catching lessons. He showed them how to put his hands out and the Boy couldn't figure this out. But then he did, and VOILA--he caught the ball. He was so excited!
Another day at co-op today. The kids ate red beans and rice and coleslaw to commemorate traditional pre-Civil War recipes (Cupcake refused to try any.) They also built a windmill to show that wind energy could be transferred to a winch. This was more difficult than it looked. Cupcake gave a report in Spanish on her favorite character in Gone with the Wind.
Another Monday over--the weather was lovely and we all enjoyed our trip to the park this afternoon. Fall is on the way!
